Introduced in 1966, the second-gen Nova adopted a semi-fastback roofline and a longer body, giving it a more contemporary appearance compared to its predecessor. It was available in various body styles, including two-door and four-door sedans, as well as station wagons.

The second-gen Nova continued to offer a range of engine choices, including inline-six and V8 options, providing a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency.
