Dodge offered the 6-pack Superbee A12 in 1969 as a discount drag racer to compete at the highest level of street car racing.
From the minute these cars hit the dealership, the road test reports said these Supercars were turning faster times than the famous Hemi-Bee. Rated at 390 Horse, these legendary race cars were underrated by at least 50 horse. With minor modifications like headers, slicks, and 4-speed transmission, they were turning 12 second quarter mile times.
This Superbee combines all the qualities of a 100% documented A12 car with copies of each title from all previous 15 Oregon owners.
It has its matching numbers engine and transmission, matching quarter panel numbers, original fender tag, and it’s finished in F6 Spring Green Metallic. This Superbee is a highly desirable factory 4-speed car with a bench seat, its original 4:10 Dana, and it was even sold as a stripe delete car.
This magnificent car has just received a very high-quality paint job on a rust-free body with all original panels, floors, and trunk pan. The 6-pack engine has been completely rebuilt to stock compression with a mild street cam upgrade waiting for installation, which will happen in June.
This Superbee also has its original fiberglass hood, and it’s still rolling on the correct A12 factory coded steel wheels. The original radiator core support was replaced sometime in its life with the correct 26” factory replacement, and so it’s not stamped with the VIN.
This Bee checks all the boxes for originality, restoration quality, performance, and desirability. Before you spend $100,000 for a non-numbers car or automatic, please consider this collectible and authentic A12 car.
Superbee is slated for completion in fall of 2021.
*We highly recommend that each car is inspected by a third party.
