The 70 Corvette model is absolutely beautiful.
In 1970, the Corvette received several small design modifications that created this stunning factory hotrod. Chevrolet commissioned the build of a very limited number of very high horsepower small block 350’s for installation into the Corvette. Only 1,271 LT-1’s were built, but less than ½ of them were roadsters.
The LT-1 option was very expensive and cost even more than the LS-5 454 option. Performance is similar, but the LT-1’s drive and handle much better with the lighter front end.
This Corvette is a fun driver with huge horsepower from its freshly rebuilt 350 (of which we have the build receipts). The engine is believed to be the original block for the car, but when it was rebuilt, the ID pad was shaved so no numbers are visible. The correct block, heads and manifold are installed. It remains mostly in original condition, although the car received a nice repaint many years ago.
This Vette is not a show car, but it will hold its own at any local car meet. It will also not disappoint on the drag strip.
*We highly recommend each car is inspected by a third party prior to purchase
