Absolutey stunning in her original colors — Shadow Gray/ Coral, a factory tu-tone option that matches her Trim Tag. A rust-free, southern car that retains most if not all of her original body panels, floor pans and trunk floor featuring original factory spot welds and ID stampings. The numbers matching 265 cubic inch V8 with Powerglide automatic transmission work in perfect harmoney to provide effortless cruising. Power steering and power disc brakes will surely enhance your driving pleasure and your safety. The original front drum brakes have been replaced with more modern disc brakes along with a dual master cylinder – both welcome safety upgrades for sure. Speaking of safety, the past owner also added front and rear seat belts, the front belts being three point with combined shoulder harnesses. Her steering wheel, dash and instrument panel are in excellent condition and retain the factory instrumentation. A newer radio is in place but silent at this time. The interior is simply beautiful in her matching Shadow Gray/Coral colors. The seat upholstery, carpets, door panels and headliner are all in excellent condition and present close to new (see photos). Her original chrome bumpers with optional guards still sparkle and remain in excellent condition. During the refinishing process, all metal trim was removed, restored as needed, refinished and highly polished. Even her wheel covers are now restored to show quality. Her side windows are clear, in excellent condition and roll up and down smoothly. The windshield, which is a new replacement due to wiper scratches, is also crystal clear. To improve handling, matching front and rear anti-sway bars were added and her original ride height lowered slightly. We love her new stance, definitely gives her the “Hugger Look”!! A new dual exhaust system has been installed and sounds really sweet. Her exterior finish was renewed with a more durable basecoat/clearcoat product which looks fantastic. Minor door adjustments, body panel fit and gaps were addressed at this time. The results speak for themselves (see photos). The engine compartment is very clean, neat and tidy with most original stlye components in place. Ditto for the trunk compartment which retains it’s original rubber trunk mat, spare tire, chrome plated jack with decal instructions, 4-way and misc spare parts. She’s survived 76 years in this incredible condition, don’t miss your ticket to ride back to those “Fabulous Fifties!!!”
