This 1966 Ford Bronco is a true uncut U15 converted to a half cab equipped with a 302 Windsor V8, C4 automatic transmission, and factory-style four-wheel drive with a Dana 20 transfer case. Finished in white over blue, the Bronco is in overall good condition as a 4x4 off-road vehicle. With power steering, power brakes, a larger fuel tank, and an aftermarket radio, this Bronco is well-suited for local trail use and off-road driving.
This Bronco was originally built as a U15 wagon with a 170 inline-6, Light Blue from factory, and March 18, 1966 production, the inaugural year for the Ford Bronco models. The current 302 V8 and half cab configuration are later changes. The Bronco has been an Arizona car through the last few owners spanning a couple decades. Since 2020, the current owner has used the Bronco as an offroad classic. The Bronco has been up and over Four Peaks, and it demonstrated its capabilities by successfully completing the backroad route to Crown King! It has been garage-kept and well maintained over the years. This Bronco was even featured in the marketing video for the local Arizona run for Secretary of State!
The exterior of this Bronco is in overall good condition, finished with a white top over a blue body with a blue grill. The paint is in fair condition from its use as an off-road vehicle; the condition has been well earned out on the trails! The brightwork, including dual side mirrors, is in overall good condition and the bed has a black bedliner that is in good condition. The headlights, fog lights, turn signals, taillights and windshield wipers are all in good working condition. The Bronco has 15" steel wheels with Toyo Open Country A/T tires that were added in 2015, and we recommend replacement before significant mileage use. The Bronco presents as a great offroad classic that has seen trail use and remains ready for the next adventure.
