Despite its time in the spotlight, it has been driven less than 10,000 miles since restoration, and its condition still looks fresh today.
The body remains stock, finished in Sherwin-Williams Meadow Green by Moonlight Body Shop in Irvine, KY. The bed floor, crafted by Dan Carpenter, features stainless steel trim and oak planks, giving it a classy appearance. It rides on 15" Halibrand alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires for modern grip.
Under the hood sits a high-performance Ford 289ci V8, outfitted with a Carter 4-barrel carb, Edelbrock intake, Accel plug wires, billet pulleys, finned valve covers, and chrome dress-up components. A polished aluminum radiator keeps temps in check, while a custom stainless steel exhaust gives the truck a deep, throaty sound. Power is sent through a C6 3-speed automatic with a B&M shift kit to a Ford 9-inch rear end, ensuring durability and smooth shifts.
