The performance enhancements include a comp cam, a Quick Fuel 750 carburetor, and a March pulley system with an aluminum power steering pump. Additional highlights include a new steering box and links, big tube Hooker headers with long tube 3.5-inch collectors, a ceramic-coated 3-inch stainless steel exhaust, and a Painless wire system with 18 circuits. The Chevelle also boasts a mini torque starter shielded from heat, tubular suspension, an Eaton Detroit locker with 410 Richman gears, Moser axles, a monster tach, and mechanical oil and temperature gauges.
