2002 JAGUAR XKR CONVERTIBLE

This 2002 Jaguar XKR is currently in the possession of the third owner. The clean CarFax show 5 owners, however, two of those appear to be dealers. The car has spent most of it's pampered life in Florida and New England. With only 61,000 miles on the odometer, that equates to less than 3000 miles per year. The current owner, also a member of the local Jaguar car club, has maintained the car throughout his 8-9 years of ownership. Aside from oil changes every 3000 miles or less, he has had the front bumper cover repainted, replaced A/T oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, had the timing chain tensioners replaced with the upgraded metal (as an early production 2002, this still had the plastic one originally), the headrests adjusted/fixed, replaced the water pump and steering rack and had new tires mounted about 4 years/5000 miles ago. As an XKR, this has the supercharged 4.2L V8, which puts out 370 HP/387 lb ft torque through a 5 speed automatic transmission, with Sport mode. Of course, as a Jaguar, it is loaded with comfort and performance options. Leather seats - 8 way power and heated, power - mirrors, windows, brakes, steering, headrests, convertible top; F&R fog lights, traction control, cruise control, intermittent wipers, navigation, Alpine stereo, Air-Bags, burlwood dash, 18" aluminum wheels, etc. This car is finished in Onyx white (NEG) over a Cashmere (SDZ) interior. The paint is in very good condition, with only a few minor (touched up) chips in the paint. The cloth convertible top works as it should and shows some wear on the rear "pillars" where it folds down into the boot. The leather shows only minor wear on the driver bolster and the steering wheel shows, again, very minor wear on one section of the wood. Overall this car is in Very Good to Excellent condition, shows no rust anywhere and runs like a top. All the electronics work as they should, the seats move, tilt wheel, widows, mirrors, etc. All lights operate correctly. Under the bonnet, the engine bay is very clean and no leaks of any sort are detectable. The entire car is very clean and has been kept that way while in this current owners possession. When you step on the gas and bring the engine up through her RPM range, you can hear the supercharger just starting to whine, as the 390 HP is planted to the pavement by the 255/45/ZR18 General G-Max tires and the front 245/45's hold her on the road through the twisties. While by definition, this car is a Grand Tourer, she can definitely hold her own as a "sports car", with 0-60 times just over 5 seconds and .92 skid pad rating. As I would rate this car as a high 3/low 2 car, the pricing to reflect that is $13,000. Any questions, for many more photos and video, to schedule a time to see her in person or to make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for the interest!
