The goal of the build was to keep it true to the way it left the factory back in 1969 with some personal upgrades so the automatic was upgraded to a pistol grip 4 speed transmission and the 4 barrel carb was upgraded to the famous 6 pack carbs. When you walk around this GTX, the first thing that you notice is the flawlessly applied silver metallic paint that looks a mile deep over lazer straight panels. Open the door and the same attention to detail is evident throughout as the inside looks factory fresh sporting the 150 mph speedometer, tach and the awesome pistol grip shifter. A flaming river tilt column was added during the restoration to add another driver comfort item. Lets take a look at the engine compartment. When you pull the hood latch, the first thing you notice is the fresh numbers matching 440 CI 375 hp engine. Once again, the engine compartment is factory fresh with attention to detail. The underside is just as neat and tidy as the rest of the GTX. Sporting 4 wheel power disc brakes and electronic exhaust cut outs along with the 4 speed transmission and the 8 ¾” Dana sure grip rear end. Absolutely a show quality GTX.
