MONROE ANTIQUE CLASSIC BIKE SHOW AND SWAP MEET

Please join us for the biggest, the oldest, the best antique and classic bicycle show in the country, MONROE MICHIGAN'S CLASSIC BICYCLE SHOW AND SWAP MEET! May 5, 2024 will be the 42nd Anniversary of the Biggest, Oldest, and the Best Antique and Classic Bicycle Show in the Nation. This one day event held at the Monroe County Fair Grounds, 3775 S. Custer Rd. Monroe, MI 48161, will host over 300 dealers from across the continent. The last show at Monroe had 1000s of Classic, Vintage and Collectible bicycles on site representing nearly every major bicycle maker in the last century. $6 for admission and kids under 12 get in to the Show free! provides the public with a variety of opportunities to participate in the bicycle collecting hobby like no where else in the nation. We will also be adding a general flea market and mini bike swap meet. First and foremost are the Show bikes. Typically, 50 to 75 bicycles are entered into twelve categories and the public votes for its favorites. Awards are presented to the first place winners in such categories as Best Unrestored, Best Ladys, Best Motorized Bike, Best Early Classic, Best Custom Classic and the Best Bike of each decade 1930 through 1970. Next is the Classic Bike of the Year Award. This is a judged event, which focuses on some of the finest, rarest and most sought after bicycles in the bicycle collecting hobby. All of these bicycles are from private collections and are seldom seen outside of museums or auctions. The winner will be crowned Classic Bike of the Year 2023. The Show features a Classic Bike Corral located right outside the main entrance of the EXPO building. Anyone who thinks they may have a valuable or collectible bike can sell in the Corral for only $10 and let the crowd decide its value. Besides all the buying and selling of bicycles, we're also giving away door prizes. The $6 cost to get into the Show includes a free door prize ticket. This year, four $50 drawings will be given away. You need to be present to win and you can only get a chance by coming to the show. This is a great event for the entire family. The bicycle displays will surely bring back many interesting memories to all the grown-ups whether its their first bike, their paper route bike, or even the bike that you got for Christmas. It may even provide an opportunity to fulfill a dream and finally get the bike you always wanted. Once one learns how to ride a bike, one never forgets that first feeling of freedom and excitement. The Chrysler 300 Club International, Inc will hold its 53rd Annual Spring Meet in Kokomo, Indiana.For many industrial and technical achievements, Kokomo is officially known as the City of Firsts. Among other achievements, Kokomo was a pioneer of the United States automobile manufacturing, with Elwood Haynes test-driving his early internal combustion engine auto there on July 4, 1894.From its vibrant downtown to the surrounding parks and trails, Kokomo has something for everyone. Those looking to explore the local culture can visit the various museums and galleries around town while outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy some of the area's natural beauty with a hike through one of the many trails.
